Enable Signup Confirmation

    Hello, I am not able to enable the sign up confirmation as no selection fields (Yes/No) area available under the tab Sign-up confirmation. Insted of there is a text Sign-up confirmation is mandatory while using the MailPoet sending service. Both the key and MailPoet sending service are activated. Please lez me know how to get the Signup Confirmation working. Thanks, Thomas

    Hello @tom44,

    Thanks for writing. Sorry for the confusion. If you’re using MailPoet Sending Service, Sign-up confirmation is already enabled by default. See Ref: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/128-why-enable-signup-confirmation-double-opt-in

    Hello,
    thanks for the reply. I have 2 shops using MailPoet Sending Service. In one shop I can select the field YES (like showed in your reference screen shot) and everything works perfectly there. But for the second shop I cannot select this field and the confirmation doesn’t work – subscribers don’t get any subscription confirmation requests and appear on the subscribers list as unconfirmed.

    Hi, any idea how to solve this problem? As the subscription confirmation email is not being sent out I am not able to use your newsletter plugin.

    I have a similar problem – the welcome email is sent and received, but the user is signed up without having to confirm the double opt in.
