Empty Frontend after changing theme to Ving

    After installing and activating Ving as a new theme for my site, only an empty page is shown on the frontend.
    However, after logging in to the backend, the frontend reappears. Logging off results in frontend disappearing again.

    I tried that with several other themes without changing anything but the theme: no problem!

    I am using php5.6. Would love to change to Ving, can anybody help?

    Hello,
    This seems to be some sort of issue with the incorrect installation of the theme.
    Have you messed with the core files of the theme.
    Try re-installing the theme. It should solve your issue.

    I have the same problem and I have no direct ftp access to web directory on server. When I try to add your theme it required an ftp connection. So there is an other solution or should I give up?

    Can you please share the URL of your site so that I can take a look at the issue as I cannot seem to duplicate the issue on my end.

    I chose an other theme so maybe it wont help, but the address is http://horgolmany.hu/

    I didn’t describe correctly the problem before. First I just copied the Ving directory to wp-contet/themes and I chose the theme via the admin page. When I logged out and checked the page it was blank.
    I try to find a solution and found this forum, so I try to add the theme via the admin page and I did succeed as I mentioned above.

    Hello divjotsingh_440,

    thanks for your response.
    The problem vanished in the meantime, not by reinstalling the theme. But what I did was the following:
    I added two more header images and chose random selection of them. After that, the page was there again in the frontend even when I was logged out.
    So the problem doesn’t exist anymore though I don’t unterstand why. :-/

    My client also has this problem after she installed Ving. Completely blank site. Other themes work fine.

    One thing I noticed is that the content loads if I’m logged into the admin. After I log out goes back to blank every time.

    Did not see any js errors or conflicts in the console.

    I’m going to suggest that she use another theme. I just wanted to pass on the information.
