    Hello,

After submitting the form we get an empty confirmation email.

Tested with the default {summary} and specific slugs like %name%

    What could be the problem?

    Thanks

  • Have you checked to make sure the slug names are correct.

as %name% is how you add it into the body of email, as i tested it.

    Thanks

    Hello Aaron,

Yes it works using the %first_name% tag for example, but only in the email subject… nothing shows in the body when i put it there.

    Thanks

    Hey 7h0m,

Sounds like a bug. It’s hard for me to give you actionable advice without taking a look at your settings, but knowing that your {summary} tag isn’t submitting any information tells me there may be something wrong with the processing of your form submission data. Have you checked your PHP errors? We have a guide on how to do this here, and this may give you a clue as to what’s going on: https://calderaforms.com/2016/05/wordpress-debug-logging/

I’m going to mark this issue as resolved, but please feel free to reopen it if your debug error logging finds you any information you want to check in with us about. We’re here to help.
