embedding via PHP rather than shortcode?

    Hello,

I am using Advanced Custom Fields plugin to keep a consistent layout throughout the site. One of the custom fields is used for an image.
<?php the_field('main_image'); ?> outputs a direct URL to the image from the custom field.

What I am looking for is a way to have a way to embed the filter function into single.php to keep consistency as I obviously cannot use shortcodes on directly on PHP files.

Is there a way to have some way to have this done?

  • Hi Stylishjm,

On the new InstaFX update, you can use a shortcode like this one:

    [instafx effect=”majesty, sunrise”] <img src=”http://www.yoursite.com/images/big-image.jpg” /> [/instafx]

    the pattern is:

    [opening shortcode]<your image source>[/closing shortcode]
