you probably need a plugin to do that.

look for kml flashembed plugin on this site in the plugin area.

    hope that helps

I have tried the Cool Player and Anarchy Media plug-ins but to no avail.

Then I tried putting this url in “http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/player.swf?mediaId=3008206” instead of the other one and it worked.

    Thanks!

You won’t need a plug-in to embed a SWF video. I’ll show you how. Hang on a minutes. I’m writing a tutorial now.

Okay. It’s done. This article explains how to embed that ESPN video in a WordPress article.

    Hey macsoft3,

I tried pal, and couldn’t get it to work…

I’m using the latest release, there are no plugins, which is suprising.

Looking for help though so that I can add some ESPN video to my page.

    Please help

Pointing to a specific post where you’ve tried this would be helpful so we can see what is occuring.

macsoft3’s article does correctly describe how to embed that ESPN video.

The problem is that the quote at the end of the line that ends: swflash.cab#version=9,0,0,0

    is messed up.

If you access the download link that macsoft3 includes in his post and paste the embed code from there, the video will show up as intended.

Actually, the fix I recommended just allows the player to embed. For some reason, macsoft3’s sample code shows the player, but it never players more than the commercial.
