Hi there.
It looks to me that there is something wrong with your source documents – your site is supplying them to Google’s Viewer as some kind of HTML page rather than the documents you are probably hoping to see.
If you can show me the full shortcodes ([gview…]) from your post/page then I can take a look at the files and let you know what might be happening…

You’ll see if you go straight to http://ieeebombay.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/videochallenge.pdf in a web browser that there is no document at that URL at all, so there is nothing relevant for the Google Viewer to show.
It just redirects to your home page.
You’ll need to ask your WordPress developer/support to help track down why your files seem to have disappeared. Once they exist, try the Viewer again and everything should be fine.

Just to update, I tried disabling all the plugins except this and still result is same.
asgharpure, since you’ve demonstrated this doesn’t work with Google Viewer, it’s not going to work with GDE either, which merely wraps that service. You may have a document that is formatted differently in some way or you may have encountered a bug of some sort on Google’s side with some aspect of your file. In either case, GDE can’t currently display documents that Google Viewer can’t display.

Surprisingly, this file downloaded & emailed through gmail account works but doesn’t work directly.
I am stumped. Perhaps some settings in WP or Theme might be blocking access to it.
