• There are images on this site (<a href=”https://viralatom.com/women/) that can’t seem to be found (you’ll have to scroll down the page past the second row of media icons). The theory is that the images are embedded on the previous owner’s computer (no help from them). Is there any way to get rid of these images without having to change themes? I have searched in all the folders and can’t find them. They can be found in the page source, just nowhere in any of the folders. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • Hello Burrisp,

It looks like WordPress is trying to access a path on your server but it not finding anything; for example, the crime movies image is pointing to https://viralatom.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Crime.png. You can look at the page source to get the paths for the rest of the images.

To solve this, you may want to ftp to your site put some images in the right location and that should work. If images exist, it may be an access rights issue which can be discussed with your hosting provider.

    Hope that helps. Good luck.

    Hello codejockey…thanks for replying!

I did use page source and did find the images. However, I can’t get to the images via any of the theme folders. I used ftp as well, and they cannot be found. I was told by two sources (who knows about these things) that the images are imbedded somewhere else. The only “somewhere else” that I can think of is the previous owner’s computer. He won’t help and I would like to see if there is a way to get rid of them so that I don’t have to change themes and redo everything. Thank you again.
