embed video into wp via filezilla

Hello

I am pulling my hair out trying to find out how to imbed a video into my wordpress site via filezilla. it is a 2 gb video so I can not bring it in like normal images and I do not want to put it on youtube. I have looked at other post who ask the same question but their question either never gets answered or the answer is very vague like” have your wordpress site point to the url of the video” ? does anyone know in laymen’s term how i can find this out…? I would be very grateful for any help what so ever….
