Emails suddenly not sending

Hello all,

all of a sudden my confirmation mails are not working, furthermore, when trying to send test mails i get :

“Email not sent. You must provide at least on recipient email adress.”

The Line above states “A test message will be sent to your email adress .[my correct email adress]..”

Any ideas? We upgraded our PHP last week. Thats the only thing that has changed.
I hope somebody can help. Very bad timing on this one.
