    Hi there,

    I’m having a problem with people not receiving emails. The blog is here:
    http://stanthonylc.org/blog/

    And when I enter my email, it takes me to the “Thank you for subscribing” page I created, but I never get an email saying I subscribed, nor an email when a new blog post is posted, nor no notification in the admin section that I subscribed.

    Help?

  • @gotmedia,

    Have you checked in spam folders? Have you installed an email logger in WordPress to check emails are generated? Do you get emails for Registrations or comments from WordPress already?

    Is the address not listed in Subscribe2->Subscribers in the Public Subscribers tab, it should be in red.

    Hi mattyrob,

    Yes, I have checked in spam folders.
    No, I have not installed an email logger. I’m assuming that’s a plugin?
    No, I do not get emails for Registrations or comments from WordPress already.

    Correct, the address is not listed in the area you told me about. It says, “No items found”.

    Originally, we had an AOL email address attached to the WP site, but changed that to “info @ stanthonylc.org” (no spaces) which forwards to an aol.com email. Could that be a problem?

    @gotmedia,

    Forwarding the email via AOL is probably not helping. Try to get the email account on your domain working independently of AOL.

    The log plugin is here:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/configure-smtp/

    You might find an SMTP plugin useful too. Like this one:

    @gotmedia,

    Whoops, I’ve just noticed the link to the email logging plugin is worng it’s here:
