Emails not coming through

    I am using the most recent version of this plugin. Recently, emails are not coming through from a service request form on my site. I tried using the gmail settings, didn’t work. I got the dreaded “SMTP connect failed” error. Then I tried getting the appropriate settings from my hosting company for their email (media temple – if it matters), and I don’t get an error message from the form, but the message never makes it to the email client (however – I can see the messages if I log in to the database).

    I am at a loss for what to do and would LOVE if somebody could help me out.

    If you are using gmail, you can’t send it through your hosting company. Google will reject it for any Gmail users you try to send to.

    You HAVE to send through smtp.gmail.com with authentication.
