CFDB does not send any email. That is your form plugin.
Thanks Michael – so each time someone fills out the form, we’ve been getting email. You’re saying that CFBD works with another plugin? Can you tell me what it’s called? Is that the plugin called “Contact” that I see?
Would you happen to know what could have gone wrong and how to fix it?

Michael I just found the form that works with CFBD and ran a test. I’m getting “1 configuration error found”, but it doesn’t tell me any more about it. I have no idea what to do from here. I’d appreciate any help with this.
Okay I see that you guys also own this plugin. Is this the right place for me to ask about this, or do you want me to move over to another forum?
Here’s an update:
I found that under the “Mail” tab of my form, I had an error message saying “This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.”
I had this in there: [name] <[email]>
This has been in there all along and it’s not been changed to my knowledge. I tried changing it to an email address from the website but it’s not working.
I’m the author of CFDB but not Contact Form 7. I simply made CFDB integrate with CF7 to save its form submissions. The form definitions and email are part of CF7. You should check your email settings in the CF7 admin pages.
That being said, problems with email may actually be related to your server configuration and not any plugin.
I’m having a similar issue. I am using CFDB with Contact Form 7. As soon as I activated CFBD I’m not receiving the emails from Contact Form 7. When the online form is completed, there is a nice green ‘success’ message. The data is captured successfully by CFDB. But the email from Contact Form 7 never appears.
As soon as I deactivate CFDB plugin, the issue is resolved. Is there a plugin conflict perhaps?
Many thanks
James
