email verification not working

    When a new user is registers the site sends an e-mail with a verification code.
    The site shows the following error message:
    Forbidden (403 error)

    You don’t have permission to access /krekenbuurt-nl/links/krekenbuurt-login/ on this server.

    Also when the verification is re-send it does not work.

    I use the latest PR version wit WP4.99 & AIOWPS 4.3.7.2

    A registration email is send to the site admin but the site tells that the account is not active, even after several attempts to verify the registration

    Hi,

    We have tested email verification method with WordPress new release and AIOWPS latest version and its working fine. Regarding the lost registered users, PR does not delete any users other than the users which are unable to verify within grace period if define by admin.

    Please share the screenshots or video of errors. And also, go to PR menu > Help > Version page. Share the details under Environment and Plugin and Themes menu.

    Thanks for the response.
    I tried the suggestions but they don’t work.
    Is the 403 error related to a possible wrong permission in the folder structure on the server? If so what should it be?

    Where can I send the details?
    I don’t like to share them in public.

    Hi,

    Email verification is working fine with activated plugins in your list. Please try following steps:

    • Disable other plugins one by one in your site to see if there is a conflict.
    • Setup email verification again in Pie Register settings to make sure everything setup correctly.
    • Verify users from unverified users list from admin dashboard > Users > Unverified Users.

    Hello,

    There is a firewall setting in AIOWPS which is restricting PR verification url to execute. Go to WP Security > Firewall > Additional Firewall Rules, in Bad Query Strings section, disable Deny Bad Query Strings option. It will resolve 403 error.

    We are working and will fix the issue in our upcoming plugin release.

    I got mail:
