email set up on wordpress site

    I am new to WordPress, and am using it as my website, including blogs. How can I set up an email address from this site (for ex. name@business.com), to have a professional looking address that brings the mail to my gmail address?

    Hi,

    You just need to modify wp-mail.php file from the root of your blog. You can also use different plugins for mail in wordpress.

    Hi, I am seriously new to this whole thing and so didn’t understand your answer. My organization is about to transfer its website onto WordPress and we would like to have an email address (exactly what karenkonnerth asked). But, given how illiterate I am when it comes to these things, I didn’t understand your answer. Can you explain it in seriously lay terms? To give you an idea, I am at a preschool level witht his stuff. Many, many thanks.
