Email notifications

    Our site is currently in a preview server. We have disabled emails using a plugin so as not to accidentally send notifications to clients while we are building our new site. Our concern is that when we move to the live server and turn on the email, our clients may get bombarded with welcome notifications. We have imported these clients from a different platform, so they are all “new” members as far as UM plugin is concerned. Can you assure us that this cannot happen? Thanks.

    Hi @jasperespejo,

    Ultimate member won’t send any emails if the emails were disabled and then re-enabled afterwards. The welcome email is triggered and sent upon registration so your imported users won’t receive any welcome emails.
