    I am just getting started with Ultimate Member. I know the plugin has a setting for Admin approval on registration, but I am wondering if a user can request their role to be elevated with admin approval. For example, if all registered users start off as Students and some of them need to be marked as faculty members, can a user change their role using the “Role Dropdown” field and have that role change be approved by admins before it takes place?

    Please let me know if the plugin can do something like this or if there is some code I can write to accomplish this.

    Hi @macman223,

    Unfortunately, we don’t have these options at this time. If you need to add these options on your site, you will need to hire a freelance developer to write this custom code to extend the functionality of the plugin.
