Email newsletters

Can anyone suggest a good plug-in that will allow users to subscribe to a newsletter?

and that will also allow me to send an html card on the wedding anniversaries of former clients, so I also need to be able to import the details of all of those clients, and be able to setup a html card that inserts the name of the client and sends the card on the date of the anniversary.
Is there such a plug-in?
