Email in custom social menu?

    Hello,

    Just curious if it’s possible to add an email contact link in my custom social media link menu? By default, it’s an option, but the functionality seemed to disappear when I created the custom menu. I currently have links to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, but I’m hoping to add email.

    Hi there,

    Great question! You can, but it will add the box icon with the arrow instead of the envelope. There’s no simple way to add the envelope icon to that right now to a custom menu. Sorry that wasn’t the answer you were hoping for.

    Hi, Melissa —

    Thanks for your response. I’m fine with the box icon/arrow, I’m more interested in adding my email to the menu. Twitter, FB and the other social channels were easy. I just found the direct URL to my profile (twitter.com/xyz) and added that to the “link” section.

    I’m still a bit confused how to do that with email, though, since I don’t have a profile with Gmail (at least I don’t think I do). Do I put my Gmail address in the link section?

    Hey Derek,

    You can add that square icon that opens an email by pasting your email like this into the link:

    mailto:email@address.com
