• Hello,

I connected a thrive lead box with an api connection to mailpoet. I could connect my mailpoet list “mpa calculator” with the thrive lead form. So I wanted to send the download link for the calculator after the registration and double opt in. So I created a thank you page, confirmation page and so on. But when I made the test (put my own email adress in the form) it did not work. I received no email from mailpoet. The “send a test mail” worked quiet well.

Then I saw this setting which could be the reason for my problem:

    Subscribe in registration form
Allow users who register to your site to subscribe on a list of your choice. ……….Registration is disabled on this site.

I have not the choice to enable it. Normaly I should be able to make a check there. But I can`t. Can you help me?

    Thanks
    Tim

  • I installed mail poet a few hours ago.
    Test emails all work.
Sample of my newsletter was successful in test send to myself.

    Visitors to site can subscribe.
    Confirmation messages are received.
    Subscribers are on my list.

But no emails are going out.

Registration is disabled as in previous person’s comments.

The tests all show it is working and yet in reality it isn’t. I’m really stuck.

@wrig that option is to add a checkbox to your WordPress registration form, it’s not related to the issue you are experiencing. Have you created an automatic newsletter to send welcome emails to those who subscribe to your newsletter?

Ah ok, then there is an other problem. Yes of course, the double opt in does not work. So normaly if somone does subscribe to the form, he should receive an automatic e-mail. In the dashboard from mailpoet I translated all in german. But it was in vain, if the mail does not go out after subscribing.
