Hi, @nparsons75. Do you mean an email that’s sent to people who’ve subscribed to your site, alerting them to the fact that you’ve added a new post? If so, which plugin are you using to add this option to WordPress? (For example, Jetpack has a Subscriptions module which lets you do this.)
Hi, us I have jet pack, maybe that is what is generating the email. I will look at that and see of that is where I edit. I can’t tell where it is coming from.
Hi, @nparsons75. If you’re using Jetpack, then the emails are being sent out by wordpress.com, and so there’s not really any way for you to change their format.
A few enhancement requests have been made around the subscription emails:
* https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/2437
* https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/1674
but there are inherent limitations to what can be implemented given that all of the emails currently originate from the same place.
Is there a better way, use something different from jet pack?
I can’t seem to find where the emails are controlled from. Surely there must be a way to control the email which is sent out, even with a 3rd party option. Is there a way to stop the emails going out, I would rather that than have them go out with wordpress logo’s on them. Thanks for the help.

There is no way to control the emails that Jetpack sends beyond https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/#customize-content
Jetpack is built around providing popular features as simply and hassle-free as possible. For more control, you’ll generally need to look for a more complicated plugin, like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wysija-newsletters/ in this case.

At Jetpack -> Settings in your site’s Dashboard, switch off the Subscriptions module.
Excellent thank you. I assume when you close off the jet pack subscription you van still send out using mailpoet?
Thanks for the help
Yes, MailPoet uses its own system.
