Email fields displaying as type="text"

    Hi, I just noticed that any form that’s set to email with Ninja Forms still uses the type=”text” rather than the type=”email” which is no good for mobile devices, it doesn’t come up with the email keyboard which makes it a pain to type in an email address.

    Hi,

    That’s correct, in the current version (2.9.40) of Ninja Forms the email fields have a type of text. You’ll be pleased to know however that in the upcoming v3.0 of Ninja Forms, the type is now email.
