My emails are sending correctly, I’m using google workspace SMTP rely server, my website is using WP MAIL SMTP on my wordpress website hosted on wordpress.com.

When user receives an email its coming up with “This email has failed its domain authentification requirements. It may be spoofed or improperly forwarded”

What can I do to fix this?

    Hi @mikejm,

Thanks for reaching out! Could you please try sending a test email (WP Mail SMTP -> Tools) to the email address displayed on this tool and then check your report.

If you notice any issues related to SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records in the report, please share it with Google Workspace support, and they should be able to resolve the issue for you.

Please note that the WP Mail SMTP plugin acts as a bridge between your WordPress site and your email provider (in your case, Google Workspace). This connection ensures your WordPress emails are sent using an authenticated email account. If you encounter email delivery issues, it’s best to report them to your email provider.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
