Elementor widget non open Smart Slider 3

Im using the free version of SS3 and Elementor. When I drag over the SS3 widget into a new Elementor section it will not automatically open up to any SS3 templates. Nothing happens.

Can you help me?

Hi @centecente!

Elementor had updated their code related to plugins, which created a bug in our code. We have made a fix from our end of the code and you can find an installer here:

You should go to your Plugins list -> delete your current Smart Slider 3 (don’t worry, your sliders will stay) -> install this new zip file, as you see here from step 2:

That should fix your problem!

We will soon come out with a new Smart Slider 3 version and that will contain this fix as well!

Hi @centecente and everyone else who would have the same problem.

We’ll release the fixed Smart Slider 3 version this week which fixes the problem. Until then, the problem can be fixed like this: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1491-problems-with-elementor

@centecente I replied to you via email so you can use that installer instead.

Many thanks Ramona, I used the solution via FTP and everything returned to normal. Incidentally, it changed the way the widget is integrated (it goes to the sidebar)
