    Hello,

As the title suggests, after a while, pages built with elementor lose their assets (css mostly) and you either update the page / clear cache and it recovers as magic.

    Is this a known issue?

  • Hi @rwky,

Thanks for the report. What you describe matches a known issue we are working on: when Elementor clears or regenerates its CSS files, Super Page Cache does not always purge the cached pages, so they keep pointing to CSS files that no longer exist until the page is updated or the cache is cleared.

To confirm this is the same problem on your site, could you share:

    1. Your Super Page Cache and Elementor versions.
    2. What usually happens right before the pages break. For example: an Elementor or other plugin update, saving Elementor Site Settings or global colors/fonts, or using Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS & Data. Or does it seem to happen on its own after some time?
    3. The next time a page breaks, before you clear anything: open the browser console (F12 > Console) and copy any 404 errors for .css files, plus the page URL.
    4. In Super Page Cache settings, whether “Auto-purge on Updates” and automatic purging on post edits are enabled, and whether it purges related pages or the whole cache.

Let us know what you find.

    Hi @malexandric ,

    Answering by points:
    1. Elementor 4.3.2, Elementor Pro 4.2.2, Super Page Cache 5.3.5

    2. I have not noticed anything like that.

    3. ok

    4. That is an advanced option, it was off, leaving it off as hopefully I get a hit to respond to #3.

Will write back if I manage to reproduce it.
