Elementor is bad, do not use

    We run many wordpress websites using many different CMS’s. On a recent project for a client they unfortunalety chose a theme that embedded Elementor and it has all gone fruity.

    Besides the constant demands to upgrade to pro to do anything with their theme or poducts that come standard with many other themes by default, Elementor is faulty and just doesnt work.

    Since deploying Elementor, we are unable to edit any of our wordpress pages, experiencing spinning wheel, widgets not loading, or Preview could not be loaded when trying to edit any of the pages.

    Even though we have paid a premium price for their pro product, we are yet to recieve any support from this Israel based company. We will not be using Elementor on any of our future projects and we will not be recomending them to any of our clients.

    I agree with your assesment.

    Besides constantly needing updates – there are continous, various issues that severly slows down production.

    The thing is. This basic elementor USED to be a great plugin when it first came out.

    The new Elementor One is a SUPER tragedy – with tokens and linking, etc, etc – it just sucks.

    In my opinion they should go back to the last known issue-free elementor basic.

    Then a small fee for the early issue-free Elementor Pro.

    Then, if anyone wants to deal with the hot mess that is Elementor One – they can pay a fee and try and navigate the chaos.
