Elementor changes not appearing on Live site

    Hello!

    I have recently started using Elementor to re-design a site with existing content after switching to a new theme (GeneratePress). I have watched many many videos on using Elementor and have been playing with Elementor on my staging site for a little over a week. However, I cannot get certain changes to appear on the Live site.

    On my Homepage, I created a hero image with a Call to Action button and I got everything to look the way I like, (hitting Save along the way), here’s how it looks in the Elementor Editor (it also looks this way in the WP Customizer): https://goo.gl/i4mUkT

    However, when I click “View Page” or visit the Live site from any browser, I only see a default button, no hero image, or button styling appears on the Live site: https://goo.gl/oTPsbo

    I have tried deleting that section and creating it again, clearing browser cache and server cache as suggested in the Elementor docs.

    I have tried deactivating all plugins and switching themes and continue to have the same issue. Here is how it looks in the twenty fifteen theme with all plugins deactivated: https://goo.gl/wn63MV

    All plugins/theme are up to date.
    WordPress v4.8
    GeneratePress (Premium) v1.3.48 (child)
    Elementor (Free) v1.4.9

    krisric345 I am also having this same issue. I have been updating my site and using the Elementor Page Builder which is so easy to use and has awesome features HOWEVER when I go to ‘Live view’ it does NOT show the updates only the old page is showing. I refresh and still it does not show the changes I made.

    So I have made some great changes but I CANNOT get it to appear on my website.

    All plugins/themes are up to date.
    Updated the PHP to newer version 7.0 had some plugins conflict with this and changed it to 5.6.

    Finding this very frustrating.

    Is it that you cant update using Elementor ???? Must you start from NEW for it to work ???

    Would also love some insight or help to get my changes to actually load to my website.
