Support » Plugin: Toolset Types - Custom Post Types, Custom Fields and Taxonomies » edit.php showing wrong post types

  • after migrating from custom post type UI and deactivating it, everything was working perfectly as it had been.

then after editing one of my posts, the edit.php?post_type=artist (custom post type is named artist) page does not display the custom post type but instead all other post types. the strangest thing is that the number of posts at the top is correct (all/published/draft/trash) but the listing is of the wrong post types.

could you help me to solve this issue?

  • Dear ezPuzzle,

Hope you are migrated Custom Post Types created using Custom Post Type UI ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/ ) to Types.

Please confirm you are using latest version of Types and WordPress.

yes the migration worked fine, the Custom Post Type UI plugin is disabled entirely. Everything was working perfectly as it should after the migration step.

Then for some reason the edit.php page for one of my custom post types is displaying the posts from other post types, and not the post type that i click on.

    Dear ezPuzzle,

Can you please disable other plug-ins and check it is working or not ? Please confirm you are using latest version of Types and WordPress.

If issue exists please send me your DB to my mail –> bigul.m@wpml.org for debugging it.
