This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Won’t I risk losing all the website, though?
I am content creator and I am afraid of destroying all the site. My technical knowledge is limited. Is there any safety procedures I should do?
I need desperately the help of a WordPress specialist. I am already considering changing to another platform as WordPress has not been reliable for a simple content creator… 🙁
You won’t lose your site if you follow the steps, especially if you use the Health Check plugin method. 🙂
