  • In “Editor Menu”, which menu do you mean? The left-side admin menu or something else?
What are you trying to do? Create or Edit a post or page?

Correct the left side admin menu. I want to edit my php file. Thanks!

You mean the one under Appearance? Are you logged in as Admin? .org version or .com version of WP?

For editing your theme, go to (left menu) Appearance > Editor.
The editor window defaults to your theme syles (styles.css).

You really should be creating a Child Theme for any changes, as when the main theme updates, all the changes you may have made to the main theme will be lost. Or you could use a Custom CSS plugin for any styling (css) changes.

The problem is that I do not see “Edito” under appearance at all. I am logged in as an admin. I am using version 4.3.1 of WP

Just asking… did you click on Appearance? A sub-menu should drop down underneath.

You may have a plugin conflict. Try deactivating all your plugins, and then see if your Admin menu works as it should.

Yes I did. I use it all the time. I don’t know why it’s missing now. I’ll try that. thanks!
