What happens exactly ? We need more detail.
Maybe your files are write protected? It should say so if they are.
I’m also having trouble, my permissions are set to 755. And now there is no button to click to save changes to the pages in theme editor. I have the 2.0 version. The only message at the bottom of the code says, ‘If this file were writable you could edit it’ I haven’t changed anything. Please assist, thank you 🙂

when i wanna edit the theme while I klick on the theme editor….there is no button zu submit…!?
really seems as if this file (the style.css) is protected…how can I get it out?!
