When selecting a theme for my form, is it possible to make changes in the CSS to get the look I want? Another question, can I change the symbol of the required mark?

Sure, you can!

Please go to Form Maker > Themes > Custom CSS.
For changing the required mark, please go to Form Options > General Options > Required fields mark.
