Editing the Entry Date

    Hello,
    I want to be able to modify the entry date of my posts (instead of it just being the current date). How can I do this?

    The reason I want to do this is because I want to create a blog for upcoming events and order them by date with the nearest event listed first and the farthest event away listed last (and past events not listed at all).

    Admin/Posts/Edit.

    Amend the date under the Publish tab.

    Thanks I didn’t see that. Is there a way to make these future entries show up?

    You can preview them when you’re logged in but, other than that, they won’t show until the appropriate publication date. Seems to me that you either need an event management plugin or a custom template – possibly using custom fields for your event dates.
