I can understand what you are looking for. The feature of customizing the Confirmation mail is currently not available in the Metform plugin. In the case of confirmation mail, if you want, you can exclude the user data from confirmation email by disabling this functionality inside the confirmation configuration of the Form.
But, I can understand the necessity of customized emails and since it is not available yet in the MetForm, I am requesting you to add this as a feature request. If you try to make any changes in code, that will be temporary and will be removed after an update. So, it is not recommended to manipulate the code of the MetForm.
We are continuously working on improving our plugin by adding more new features according to our customers’ needs. If it is already added in the Roadmap section, then you can leave an upvote. Hope it will be added in the future update of our plugin.
