Hi @letteredloreco,
Thanks for the extra detail and the screenshot — that helps a lot.
What I can see in your screenshot
You’re inside the Elementor editor on your Home page, and the dropdown open on top of the canvas is Elementor’s built-in page-switcher (the “Recent” panel with Works, Services, About, Contact, Portfolio). This lets you jump straight to editing another page without leaving the Elementor editor first — and that’s very likely what’s causing your problem.
When you click one of those page links while your current page still has unsaved or unpublished changes, Elementor is supposed to warn you with a “You have unsaved changes” pop-up before it lets you leave. If that warning doesn’t appear (or gets missed), navigating away through that panel can discard whatever hasn’t actually been published yet on the page you’re leaving.
A few things to check
1. When you make an edit, are you clicking the blue Publish button or are you relying on autosave only? Autosave keeps a draft in Revisions, but it does not publish your change to the live page — only Publish does that.
2. After clicking Publish, try switching pages using that same “Recent” panel and then coming back. If the edit holds this time, that confirms it’s a publish-timing issue rather than caching or a template problem.
3. In your Revisions panel, you can see several revisions saved just seconds/minutes apart — this pattern usually means autosave is firing repeatedly without a manual Update in between, which lines up with what’s happening.
On the template question
To confirm whether you’re editing the live page and not a disconnected template:
– Go to Pages → All Pages in your WordPress dashboard (not through Elementor), open the Home page from there, and click Edit with Elementor.
– Separately check Elementor → Editor → Templates → Saved Templates in Elementor — if your homepage design also exists there as a saved template, edits made inside “Templates” won’t reflect on the actual page unless that template is inserted into the page.
If you always reach the editor via Pages → All Pages → Edit with Elementor (rather than a bookmarked template link), you’re editing the page directly.
On live support
The WordPress.org forums are community support, so there isn’t live chat here.
Let us know how the Publish-button test goes — that alone will likely confirm the cause.
Best,
Humayon
