editing problem only when on Safari

I built a website on wp using theDIVI plugin. I have always used Safari as the browser and Every thing was working fine until recently. Now when I try to enable the Divi visual builder and I am using Safari, I get a spinning wheel on any page I try to edit. I have written to the Divisupport forum (no reply), but I thought it might not be their problem after all since all works well with different browsers. Can someone point me in the right direction?
