In what manner you want to change layout?
There are predefined templates for pages, but for example if you choose full width that doesn’t exactly mean from one side of the screen to another. It just means that there is no sidebar and the content takes the place of the sidebar.
the link to the page I’m talking about is http://www.garrettcreations.com/services
and i know there are templates what I’m saying is that the templates aren’t changing anything, even when i change a template or its content it defaults back to almost like a blog page listing posts instead of a normal content page. Can you help?
First, check if you set Front and Blog pages from Appearance > Customise > Static Front Page, tick A static page and set desired pages.
Second, just go to Pages > Add new, choose title and just select Services template, you don’t have to write anything into page body. Template will pull all your services.
Finally just set link for Front page SERVICES button (Moesia FP: Services) to point out your newly created page.
It should work like a charm.
