    I am trying to add a SlideDeck2 slider to my homepage at full width. I was able to insert it above the Featured Pages block, but I can’t get the width right. No matter what I do, there’s a large blank space to the left of the slider.

    So in other words, how do I create a container on the front page that’s 100% the width of the window?

  • Hi, do you have a link to share about this?
    Cheers

    Nevermind, I answered my own question. Funny how that happens 🙂

    I have the full block of code below, but the thing I was missing was ‘left:-1px’

    ‘<div class=”slidedeckHolder” style=”width: 100%;
    max-width: 100%;
    position: absolute;
    left: -1px;
    display: block;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-align: left;
    margin: auto;”>

    <div><?php echo do_shortcode( “[SlideDeck2 id=199 ress=1 proportional=false]” );?>
    </div>

    </div>’

    Thanks for sharing this. I set it to (self) resolved then! 😉
