Editing home page – not able

    Hello, I am not able to edit the home page- under homepage on the dashboard when I click edit then the screen is blank. I see that there are some plugins to update: 3 to be exact
    could that be it they are:
    Akismet
    Events Manager
    NextGen Gallery – BTW should I update these or does it matter/will the site function well if I press the update on these 3 plugins.
    The NextGen Gallary Plugin has this underneath it…

    Select PS Disable Auto Formatting PS Disable Auto Formatting
    Deactivate | Edit

    Activate | Edit | Delete

    Control widgets with WP’s conditional tags is_home etc

    Any ideas–anything to do in the widget area?

    To start troubleshooting, it’s a good idea to deactivate all your plugins and see if the problem persists. If not, and you can be sure it’s a plugin problem, then reactivate them one at a time until you can figure out which one is the culprit. Try it and check back in, let us know how it goes!
