• Hello,

I started an internship with a company who recently set up a website with the help of a web developer.

So I am being tasked to set up some new pages etc. I don’t have much experience with wordpress so I am learning as I go which has been going well so far…

However, I need to add a third button to a section the web developer previously created. I am not entirely sure what he has done to make the section. I know how to insert three buttons if I was too make it myself (use an inner section then add the buttons etc) however his structure is confusing me and I don’t want to delete the section and start from scratch.

The buttons on the page are ‘Programma Preparazione IELTS’ ‘Programma Preparazione B2 first. These are both english courses

I have created a page for them for a third english course called Aptis, so I want to put a third button amognst those buttons to direct people to the Aptis page.

I can provide screen shots if needed.

    Thanks for any help/advice
    Euan

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

FYI, preview links like you provided aren’t available to us outsiders. You’d have to publish the page for us to see it. It may not be of much help anyway. There are all sorts of ways devs can get content onto the page, none of which may be readily apparent from page output or screen shots. If it’s not actually from content visible in the page editor, you should look at the responsible template for clues to where the content is coming from. It might actually be the template itself, but could be another template part, a filter hook, or function call.

Even determining which template is actually used isn’t always obvious. There are helper plugins that will at least tell you the main template used. From there, review its code to get a better clue on where the output is coming from.
