If both sender and receiver delete a message that message will be deleted from database. Or as admin you can go to Dashboard > Front End PM > All Messages then find that message and delete.

There is no “All Messages” option when I click “Front End PM” in my Dashboard. Only “Settings”.

And what’s worse, my the link to the Mailbox page used to appear on the forum pages, and now it’s gone. AND, logged in as administrator and Keymaster, when I try to access the Mailbox page, it throws a “You do not have permission to access message system” error message!

You can ignore the last message. I found that when I updated everything, it deleted the settings for “who can access private message system”. Once I re-checked the appropriate boxes, it can now be accessed. However, I still do not see “All Messages” when I click “Front End PM” in my Dashboard. And I see no way for a person to delete their own message in the PM system.
Please uninstall and again install this plugin.

Before I do that, a couple of questions:
1) If I delete the plugin, will that delete all of the existing messages from the database?
2) I can see “All Messages” in my personal Inbox, just not on the Admin Dashboard. But I do not see a way to delete individual messages, just entire message threads. Should I be able to delete individual messages?
Which version of this plugin you are using?
1) For now, it does not delete messages when this plugin delete. next version i will add an option to do that
2) tick which message you want to delete then in bulk action select “Delete” then click “Apply”

Thanks! Re-installing did the trick.
