“edit blog” button, how to remove it ?

Hi, i’m new to WP and just installed a blog on one of my websites and put my first post up..
at the bottom of the post there are 2 icons, one is an “edit blog” icon and the other is the “comments” icon..

how can i remove the “edit blog” icon? I don’t want viewers to see this icon and i can not seem to find where to change/edit/remove these icons?
