Ecommerce/regular templates

    I’m in the process of making a WordPress site and browsing templates to purchase. I’m very confused about what to buy because my site will only have one page of ecommerce, many of the pages should be like a normal cms site but then id like to have downloadable content for purchase on only one of the pages so I don’t know if I should buy and ecommerce template or a normal one. What kind of template can I use for this?

    There are numerous ecommerce plugins / solutions available for WordPress, so I would suggest first checking out the various ecommerce plugins options (e.g. WP-ecommerce, WooCommerce, Shopp etc) that available for WordPress to see which one is the best to use for your situation.

    You can then see the theme which are specifically built for those plugins to see if any are suitable.

    However as you only want 1 ecommerce page, you are probably better to find a normal theme and then just integrate the ecommerce functionality into your chosen theme with a plugin. Ecommerce plugins like WooCommerce will work with any theme.
