Hi,
Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.
The Dynamic remarketing code with the ecomm_prodid in it is the old remarketing code, over a year ago Google introduced a new code for it which is what our plugin is using. See: https://support.google.com/google-ads/thread/81921001/ecomm-prodid-parameter?hl=en

Hi, thanks for your reply
Okay, noted that it’s the old code. Regarding the next step to fix this issue, do you have some sort of step by step instructions I could check? What’s the new code that we should be using? And how to check that the ProductFeedPro plugin is sending the right data etc?
Hi,
You can install the Google Tag Assistent browser plugin to check if the dynamic remarketing code is working. See: https://get.google.com/tagassistant/

Hi, thanks for the google link.
Just to be clear though re: this old remarketing code, can I confirm that you are saying that even though this is inside our Google Ads account (below), there is no problem at all?
https://prnt.sc/20tnx84
This is the breakdown of the ‘Events’ that our Google Ads tag can see (does it not need Item IDs in order to know which Items have been viewed – to remarket)
https://prnt.sc/20to4x9
How to confirm that the PFP plugin is actually sending the correct Product IDs that Google Ads remarketing can then pickup to remarket the correct Items?
PS.
My boss also shared this in his checks:
https://watch.screencastify.com/v/LjdzfJjqf45lUzRWUe16
So it’s looking like plugin is working as it is right now (even with the error message)? But we still want to get your confirmation that it is. Just to make sure..
Hope to hear from you the soonest, thanks!
Hi,
Our plugin uses the latest dynamic remarketing code from Google. So it sends these events:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/40bqmnfjs65kipg/G-event-1.png?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rjzcztf3iy5kox0/G-event-2.png?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/w9mpiy28zuy162v/G-event-3.png?dl=0
As you can see it adds the product ID and product value (price) to the events.
Like described in Google’s requirements here:
https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7305793?hl=en#zippy=%2Cretail
In your screenshot you show a lot of other parameters still being added (which is the old implementation). Those definitely are not coming from our plugin implementation so perhaps you have implemented those another way as-well?
