Same issue for me, as well.
Same issue here (resolved) : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-class-finfo-not-found-1?replies=4.
Quick answer: upgrade your php version to minimum 5.3 (If you can’t do it alone, contact your hosting providers, they’ll probably switch it for you).
Hi. Thanks for the reply, but my PHP version is 5.4.22 and ‘fileinfo’ extension is enabled. I have disabled all plugins except Easy Watermark. Now when I apply a watermark from the media library, I get just a white screen.
That worked like a charm. Thanks for your quick reply.
It did not work for me. My hosting company is telling me it is a problem with your software, not server settings.
Hi Travis,
Do you have error reporting enabled on your wordpress installation? You should see some errors then… If you have debug mode on, and can’t see an error, please read this topic: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/syntax-error-unexpected-end-of-file-in-text-tab, bet this is the problem.
