Easier way to moderate comments?

    Hi, I noticed WordPress doesn’t have a username/password system for the comment section. This means you either have to moderate it closely or you’ll get spammed. My question is: Is there a plugin that will help with this somehow?

    For the spam issue, I would just recommend using an anti-spam plugin like Alismet or SK2:

    Plugins/Spam_Tools

    For moderation, why not just set the comments to moderate them first. Dashboard -> Options -> Discussion I believe. Or even make them be logged in to leave a comment. Dashboard -> Options -> General -> Membership. (Note that’s probably the username/password option that you were looking for)
