    Hello,

We are receiving recurring PHP error notifications on several WordPress websites using Cool Timeline.

    Error details:

E_ERROR: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen()
    File: wp-content/plugins/cool-timeline/cooltimeline.php
    Line: 520

This error is currently being reported through WordPress/PHP error emails, but it does not appear to break the websites at the moment.

Since the function get_current_screen() is only available in the admin context, it may be worth checking whether the code at line 520 can be executed outside the admin area.

We wanted to report this issue because although it is not causing visible problems today, it could potentially become more problematic with future WordPress updates.

Please let us know if this issue is already known or if a fix is planned.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

The update was not offered automatically through WordPress on my website, so I reinstalled the plugin manually to get version 3.3.3.

Since the reinstallation, the error seems to have disappeared and I have not received any new notifications related to this issue.

Thank you for the fix and your support.

    Best regards,
    Mael
