I randomly tried to log in my website one day and was not able to. It said I had a critical error and sent me an email and a link to the article “debugging your website”.
I tried debugging myself and it does nothing. Customer service said there was a problem with my updated WordPress version and an outdated plugin. This is what the email said but that doesn’t show me how to fix it. I can’t even log into my website to see the problem.

Also I can’t even use the recovery link wordpress sent me to log in because it keeps saying my website has a critical error. So I have no way to get into my website at all except through bluehost and look at my file manager from there.

Hi there,

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I know this issue was in version 5.1.5 but it was fixed and new version was released right after that. Please try using the updated version of the plugin and let me know if the issue still exists.

Hi @abakkum,

May I know which version of the plugin you are using? It was fixed right after the update and I updated the new version. Please use 5.1.8 version if the issue still exists let me know

I am having the same issue and my site is down. I didn’t authorize WordPress to install a facebook plugin to my website but it was there on the front page along with another, I don’t remember what that was. I disabled both plugins, which worked fine for a while, now the site is no longer functioning. I read the comments. I don’t know which plugin you are referring to 5.1.8. My work page says I don’t have any plugins now. Please help.

I also don’t want an easy social feed link on the website. I did want people to be able to access the website from a facebook link for advertisement only, but I don’t want a link to facebook on my site. There is no reason for that.

I still need help, my website is still down. It won’t allow me to upload wp file manager. It says there are XML, commas, etc. This is an anonymous site so I don’t want people’s fb information or images attached to it. I will remove fb connection from it if that is what is needed. I need this site back up and running the way I had it. Please help.

Hi @rnresources,

Did your site went down after installing Is Easy Social Feed plugin? Is it installed on your site at the moment? if yes then delete the easy-facebook-likebox folder from plugins. You will have to connect via FTP or Cpanel File manager.

Let me know if deleting the plugin folder solves your issue.
