E-Mail notifications

Woocommerce->Einstellungen->E-Mails->New order
In the newest Version of your Plugin the E-Mail notification settings are translated like before. But when I check the box “Enable this email notification” and try to save it, it unchecks it. Any ideas?

Works though when I switch to english for the backend.
Also when the cart updates in the checkout (e.g. changing to “per Nachnahme” it changes to english now. Strange things happening π
And the order E-Mails stay in english aswell.
Hi there!
The settings DISPLAY for the emails is incorrect at the moment, that is due to a wrong textdomain setting in WooCommerce — and therefore I have to implement double loading which causes that. Next plugin version will have a tiny workaround for that.
But please tell me which WooCommerce version you are using: the above stated is only effecting WooCommerce 2.0.x branch! For WooCommerce 2.1.x all should work like before.
The other stuff: please always one thread per question!
For the “Nachnahme” thing:
Which Gateway are you using?
– Built-in?
– That via “WooCommerce German Market” (premium plugin)?Order emails: I don’t experience this yet, not with WC 2.0.20 and not with 2.1.x — I have a client shop running on 2.0.20 and all works like normal.
Thanks, Dave.
…the email setting is still there in the database, it just does not display properly!
Hello! – Same for me!
π
After installing the new version, there is no way to check again the option for all emails. As written from philliproth when you are going to save the email notification option for any email, so new order, payment received etc. after clicking on “SAVE” it always unchecks the option.
I reinstalled a backup version on a testing domain and could verify after updating this plugin, this happens. When deactivating the plugin, all is fine!

PS: My woocommerce version is 2.0.20 and the version of the plugin is 3.1.2

Hi
just install the plugin. Do not activate it or deactivate it. Copy the needed *.mo or *.po file to the Woocommerce language folder. Problem solved.
I had the same problem and I was really sad because I sent a newsletter today, and I didn’t get any mails.
Anyway, now it works.

Hi there!
I am sorry, but such tips are not recommended, as these lang files will be overridden by the next update of WooCommerce itself!WooCommerce itself – and also my plugin – support special file path for update-safe lang files. These should be used.
Also, like stated in my plugin description: it is one alternative – you can use what you want in the end. I am not responsible for anything.
Extra Note I:
I got a detailed report via email on Friday night with this problem – I worked the whole Saturday and Sunday on a workaround.
The cause of the error is not my fault but in WooCommerce as they have not unified their textdomains!Extra Note II:
The issue currently exists within 2.0.x branch of WC – this one is outdated and unsupported by WooCommerce!
I only will support this branch for a short period of time – and phase out support soon.
That I still worked the whole weekend on a patch for an old branch you can consider as special user support. You can also use the legacy version for WooCommerce 2.0.20 — my plugin in former version 3.0.20: Download from here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-de/developers/ — ZIP file: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce-de.3.0.20.zip
Or use your own custom translation.
Thanks, Dave π
…also like others mentioned already, as a temporary workaround you can let load translations only on frontend (via plugin’s options)
Version 3.1.3 is out which should resolve the issue(s).

Thank you very much David! Everything works perfect now.
@philliproth:
Perfect, thank you very much π
