My server works fine, except it doesn’t send e-mail, I don’t see any option for setting the outgoing smtp e-mail host anywhere in my options, and whatever host it is currently using does not work.

This was a problem when I first installed because I was not able to get my admin password from my e-mail. I clicked the install script, and it ran, created the database tables, and the admin account.

I ended up creating a new password, using an MD5 checksum generator, and updating the database manually to access it, but now if I click the “e-mail me when somebody adds a comment box” it still doesn’t send e-mails, and it hangs when somebody tries to post something.

If I uncheck that box, it runs fine, but I have now way of knowing when somebody has posted a message (except by RSS, but I’d rather get an e-mail, especially for new users that I need to approve)

The database however is being updated, aside from that, and even when it hangs, trying to send the e-mail, I still see the posts if I stop and refresh the page.

(I currently don’t have a SMTP server set up)
