Duplicating Posts

    I need to be able to re-use previous event posts, and tried using the popular Duplicate Post plugin…which is supposed to work on all custom post types, but it doesn’t work with Event Organiser.

    How can I set up a way to duplicate the events and re-use them?

    Hi @xnau,
    I’m the developer of Duplicate Post, can I ask which was the issue when you tried it with Event Organiser? So we can try to fix the problem…

    Yes, what happens is in the list of events in the admin, the Duplicate Post plugin adds “Clone | New Draft” to the commands that appear when you hover over the name of the event. Also, on the event edit page, there are several places where you can add or clone the post. None of these are visible.

    It is working for blog posts and pages on the same site.

    Hi @xnau,
    are you sure you have checked the relevant box for the Event post type under Settings→Duplicate Post, tab Permissions? Looks like the plugin is not enabled for that custom post type…
